I was listening to our old podcasts while putting the new ones together. Yes, we have a new one up and new ones lined up for the next 2 weeks.

But back to the point. I listened to the "We're Nuts!" Episode 8 and got to wondering again. Would transplanted balls mean kids that belong to the donor genetically?

So I did some searching.

"Theoretically testicle transplant from another donor is possible but it still hasn’t been tried on humans because it wouldn’t make any sense to do it. Spermatozoids carry genetic information that they got from germ cells of the testicle, so even if you would get someone to donate you a testicle and even if that transplant were successful the sperms that the transplanted testicle would produce wouldn’t be genetically yours and so wouldn’t the children. They would be genetically donors children. "

Hmm..... could this lead to weird paternity suits? Hmm.... if you gave blood for a paternity test you'd be off the hook

Anyway, I just wanted to pass that along.
