Well, this July 4th to celebrate our countries independance we did what any red blooded American consumer oriented person with a short attention span would. We watched Fireworks.

Oooh.


Ahh.


Seriously though, they were kinda nice. Even if my town pussed out of doing them because of a little rain. The entire state it seems turned up on our little boardwalk. And then Bradley Beach just didn't shoot them off. No word where they were setting up, no notice on their website. Nothing.

So while we sat there wondering what the fuck was going on, it started raining. We soldiered on for a half hour until we got summarily annoyed and decided to leave. Being of broken foot in a cast and on crutches, walking the few blocks down to the beach from my house was not an option. Storm and B drove me down to the beach, dropped me off, then drove back to the RP Studio so they could park and not lose a space.

Well, when they had started shambling off toward the house and car, I settled in to wait in the rain. Next thing you know the fireworks started. But not where they were supposed to. We were waiting and watching to the right, the booms started coming from the left. I looked over and there was The other RP's coming back for the show.

Luckily for us the next town over or so decided to not puss out and, rain be damned, they shot them off.
