RP Versus the Military Channel
Well, interesting times lately. Along with my surgery a few of us Reckless Philosophers were invited to take a part in a round table discussion with The Military channel. Specifically about a new show called Showdown: Air Combat. The round table discussion was with Major Paul Moga and Air Warfare Strategist Dr.James Mowbray.
Major "Max" Moga is the host of the new show, and the current F22 Raptor Demonstration Team Pilot. Dr. James Mowbray is one of the leading Airpower Warfare Strategists. Kinda heady company for the Reckless Philosohers.
Everyone had a chance to ask a question. It was very informative for guys like me that really just like the sounds and designs of the Military Jets.
Anyways, below is the Podcast from their show.
Don't mind my being a little nervous when it's my turn. I liked how my question was answered. Give it all a listen. We recorded this from our point of view also. Hopefully we'll have our excepts up soon in one of the next podcasts. Our behind the scenes banter was amusing to us, though they probably wouldn't have appreciated it

The other interesting part about this was our setup. We had our studio gear (a 4-channel mixer and some microphones) hooked up to Dissident's eeePC. The eee's output was hooked to the stereo in my living room. We tested it out by sending me outside with my cell phone, and having Diss and Scorp call me with the eee using Skype. It actually sounded better than a normal cell phone call. Satisfied, we then called into the discussion. ¡Viva la tecnología!
