My Apartment..too funny

So I recently had a disagreement with the gas company about what is and isn't a proper time frame for bill payment. Well they won the argument and I came home to a house that was in the 50's. I conceded defeat and called them to restore the service.

Well I waited around the house for them to show, neglecting my good friend Laura to do so.

So there I was just sitting there surfing the net on my EEE (I really love this thing) and kinda in a groove when a sound starts encroaching on my consciousness. Whats that I thought, then it dawned on me that it was someone banging on my front door. They said that the person would call about 15 minutes prior to their arrival. I didn't think it was them but at the same time I jumped and rushed to answer the door in case it was them.

It was and I let the guy into my living room. The guy looked around and noticed the mixing board on the coffee table with the full sized mics. Then he saw and looked at the screen I have hanging in front of the big (46" HD) TV. Then he sees the naked girl lamp I have on top of the TV. I watched him glance around with a look of "Hmmm, ok...", so when he looked at the screen again I pointed out that it was a screen for the projector on the other side of the room. He just nodded and quietly said "Hell of a setup you got here". We then proceeded into the kitchen so he could light the pilots on the stove.

To light the pilots he had to  move a bag of beer bottles so he could open the door to the oven. "Sorry, those are from a get together we had recently". He just kinda grunted "Uh, huh.".

Once he finished he turned around and saw the green screen and stopped cold. Glancing at me I said "Green screen, we were filming here recently."

"Not porn I hope"

"No, not in the kitchen"

"Uh huh."

I then moved the screen so I could open the door to the basement so he could relight the burners. When he finished and came back up he just looked at me and Nodded.

"Been interesting meeting you" he said and he left.

The whole time he had the look like he wanted to ask what everything was for but was probably afraid of the answer.

I found the whole exchange funny as hell and had to laugh once he left. I live here so I don't notice the bizarre assortment that I have laying around. I think he must have thought I was a drunk movie maker, or into porn production or something.

The look on his face was priceless. I'm still chuckling at the whole thing.

Something must be wrong with me, I'm too easily amused lately.
