Well, this site was founded on the idea that when we go out to a bar and have a few drinks our discussions get loud and funny and we end up with people around us that have stopped their own conversations to listened to our high level drunken rants, jokes, philosophy etc..

I ,having purchased a Zune recently, also discovered podcasts. I knew they existed but really couldn't see the point. Then I played with it a bit and realized that it's really a pretty cool form of entertainment. Well combine my recent discovery of podcasts and our own entertainment of the masses when we go out, and after some discussion a group of my friends decided that that is what  were going to do.

As well as having a podcast we decided that our podcast and site should reflect our diverse natures, thoughts, and styles.


We've been publishing pretty regularly and last weekend we decided to do our first podcast.

What a comedy of errors. Scorpio has a bit of a background with video editing and equipment. I have enough gear to do the job. We figured no problem.

We were wrong. Everyone started showing up around 7:30 or so and Scorpio started setting up his gear. For fun he brought over his green screen and figured he could digitally put us places, Iraq, the Deathstar, whatever.

First we ran out of cables, then we needed mics, so it was a trip to RatShack. Trouble is we had already started to imbibe the spirits. After hassling the RatShack guy and dodging attempts to sell us phones we picked up a mic and a cable or 2. Once back Light fixtures were going up, a huge camera was set up, and we found out we had the wrong cables.

The DVR I used to record I formatted and promptly after setup the battery died. So we set up my iAudio M5 to record, but its battery was wonky, it stopped recording randomly, and we got to the point where we were to drunk to care.

Note to self, set up Before you drink.

Scorpio using enough light to grow a crop. I'm surprised the cops didn't stop by to see what we were doing. It was that bright.

I think we can salvage some of the audio, when thats cut together we'll release it. In the mean while we learned a good bit about how not to do it.
